We are proud to announce Automated Data Processing, Inc (ADP) as our 2011 November Company of the Month!
In addition to consistently being one of our top 20 highest giving companies, ADP and their employees are completely engaged in the United Way mission in a full spectrum of support and activities.
This year ADP partnered with Inland Empire United Way to revitalize a local elementary school on National Make A Difference Day, Saturday, October 22nd. With a $25,000 sponsorship from ADP, Mission Elementary Schoo, located in a predominantly low-income neighborhood in Ontario, received a complete makeover! Over 300 ADP employees volunteered their time to clean, paint and landscape to transform the school into a vibrant and animated campus.
In addition to a brand new campus, all 700 Mission Elementary students received a brand new, grade appropriate book graciously donated by the ADP employees.
A few months earlier, ADP employees also held a food drive for IEUW’s Kids Pack program. They donated over 3,000 food items and 200 backpacks! Not only did they donate the materials for the project, but volunteered to fill every backpack resulting in 380 children fed by their efforts!
We are thrilled that ADP is already planning events for next year. Truly, ADP gives and lives to the mission of Inland Empire United Way. Congratulations to ADP, our November Company of the Month!
