2018 Save The Date 7th Annual Fundraising Gala

Challenge for Children Gala – Save the Date

The theme is Inspiring Stories of Hope, which is United Way’s goal for local underprivileged children, their families, and our entire community. It is our goal to raise $100,000 to help local youth to succeed in school and to be inspired and prepared for a bright future. We are planning a first class gala with an extensive network of business and community supporters who care about the future of the Inland Empire.

We invite you to join us on Thursday, March 8, 2018 as the Board of Directors and Executive Advisory Council for Inland Empire United Way hosts the 7th Annual Challenge for Children Gala. Over 550 guests are expected to be in attendance, enjoying fine wine, a gourmet dinner, an impressive silent auction, and live entertainment.

In its seventh year, the gala is presented by Wells Fargo and continues to attract repeat attendees who dine with friends, colleagues, and clients year after year. The Gala will be returning to the beautiful Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center. We also look forward to welcoming student performances from local schools, where United Way assists students every week of the school year.

That is exactly what this event is all about. The theme is Inspiring Stories of Hope, which is United Way’s goal for local underprivileged children, their families, and our entire community. The assistance we provide to our local students brings hope, is geared at helping them succeed in school, and inspires them towards a bright future. We know that building successful students results in educated, healthy, and financially stable adults.

Each year, this event supports an array of programs aimed at providing a safety net for families in crisis and breaking the cycle of poverty for children in the Inland Empire. Proceeds will help feed hungry kids, house homeless families, and equip students with the supplies and inspiration to reach future self-sufficiency.
