INLAND NEWS GROUP NAMES INLAND EMPIRE UNITED WAY A WINNER OF THE INLAND EMPIRE 2018 TOP WORKPLACES AWARD

Inland Empire United Way has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by Inland News Group, publisher of The Press-Enterprise, The Sun, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and Redlands Daily Facts. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage , LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey , CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“What an amazing surprise to have Inland Empire United Way make the list for the Top 40 Workplaces of 2018! This is our first year ever making the cut and we couldn’t be more excited. Employee engagement and appreciation has always been at the top of my to-do list when it comes to staff recognition. I firmly understand that a healthy and engaged workforce begins with employees who feel valued, trusted, respected and appreciated,” said Dr. Felita Jones, President and CEO of Inland Empire United Way.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of our staff to create a workplace that is rewarding, inclusive, diverse and collaborative. I couldn’t be anymore proud to lead a team of such amazing individuals who make Inland Empire United Way a great place to work by constantly living up to our EPIC values of Excellence, Partnership, Integrity and Compassion.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
